Shannon M. Deitz is a passionate speaker and author, dedicated to reigniting child-like faith in teens and adults. Shannon gives all glory to God and praises him for raising her from the ashes and in gratitude devotes her life to spreading his truth. Her memoir, EXPOSED: Inexcusable Me…Irreplaceable Him, debuted spring 2010 from Pleasant Word Publishing (a division of Wine Press Group) www.winepressbooks.com and was recently nominated for the ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publishers Association) Christian Book of the Year Award and is an About.com Reader’s Choice Award Fnalist for Top 5 Catholic Book of 2010 and The Author’s Show.com 2011 50 Great Writer’s You Should Be Reading Award.
Shannon has been a team speaker for the Franciscan University Steubenville Youth Conferences with the blessing to reach an audience of collectively over 40,000+ teenagers in Ohio, Louisiana, Florida, Minnesota, Rhode Island and Washington State within the past 5 years.
She spoke at the World Youth Day Festival in Madrid, Spain (two venues) and at WYD in Sydney, Australia 2008, MC’d and gave the woman’s perspective at the Theology of the Body conference at Rice University in Houston, Texas in October of 2009 and has spoken for the following youth, young adult and adult programs:
